Current position

Since the first of January 2017, I am a postdoc in the research team of Anja Sturm at the Institut für Mathematische Stochastik of Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, funded by the SPP Priority Programme 1590: Probabilistic Structures in Evolution. Before that, I was a PhD student in the Mathematics department at the University of Zurich; my supervisor was Jean Bertoin.

I am generally interested in probability theory, stochastic processes, branching structures and their intersection into a wide variety of (applied) probability models arising in random graphs, percolation, fragmentation, coalescent theory, random trees (of both the continuous and discrete kind), random walks and Lévy processes.
